What is UniFAST?

A unified financial assistance system for tertiary education

The Unified Financial Assistance System for Tertiary Education Act, or UniFAST, is Republic Act No. 10687. It brings government-funded student financial assistance programs under one coordinated system for students in public and private institutions.

UniFAST was established to make tertiary-level assistance more effective, efficient, and politically neutral, with support delivered through scholarships, grants-in-aid, student loans, and other specialized forms approved by the UniFAST Board.
